Before painting in oil and ash, I worked with ideas that took other forms. Stunts that were theatre, politics, pr and art, all at once. These projects were staged under Studio Total, a conceptual pr/activism agency I co-founded, and later through The Nordic Society for Invention and Discovery. They took me to some interesting places. From being summoned by the KGB to buying and custom-building a small airplane in Lithuania. Let’s call it art outside the gallery world.
